Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 3, 2026
This policy applies to the OpenCode Remote iOS app. OpenCode Remote is an iPhone/iPad client that connects to an OpenCode server URL you configure.
What We Collect
We do not run advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or third-party trackers in the app. We do not sell personal data.
Data Processed by the App
OpenCode Remote processes data that you choose to use in the app, such as:
- server connection settings (for example, server URL, optional username, and password);
- project paths and session metadata;
- messages, prompts, and attachments you send;
- session timeline data returned by your configured server.
Where Data Is Stored
App settings and cached session/project data are stored locally on your device (for example, via iOS local app storage). This helps restore your connections, project list, and recent session state.
Network Traffic
The app communicates only with the server endpoint you configure. When you use the app, messages, commands, attachments, and related session data are sent between your device and that server. We do not operate a separate data collection backend for this app.
Permissions
The app may request the following permissions only when you use related features:
- Camera: to capture a photo and attach it to a message.
- Photo Library: to select an image and attach it to a message.
If you do not grant these permissions, you can still use the app except for camera/photo attachment actions.
Third-Party Services
The app itself does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. Optional provider authentication flows (such as API key or OAuth) are initiated by you and are handled against your configured server/provider endpoints.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share app data with third parties for advertising. Any data transmission occurs as part of your direct use of your configured server and selected provider services.
Data Retention and Control
You can remove saved connections and local app content from within the app where available. Deleting the app removes app-local data stored on your device according to iOS behavior.
Children's Privacy
OpenCode Remote is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
